For over 30 years, The King's Ranch and Hannah Homes have been home to hundreds of youth, women, and children seeking refuge, hope, and help from abuse, neglect, abandonment, homelessness, and other difficult circumstances. Today, we provide residential group home services in sixteen Christ-centered homes, located in four different counties.
Our first priority is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and the unconditional love of God with every youth, woman, and child we serve. Along with the opportunity for spiritual development, we teach the necessary skills and provide tangible services to help our residents heal from their devasting past, break the cycle of abuse, build healthy relationships, and become independent, productive members of society.
Homeless no more:
Sharon and family
find hope, help
at Hannah Home
After spending several nights on the street, Sharon and her two children woke to a chilly Sunday morning. They were hungry, but the family had no money to buy food. They made their way to a convenience store, and Sharon went inside to ask the clerk for something to eat. A customer listened as Sharon tearfully poured her heart out to the cashier. When she turned to leave, the customer tapped Sharon on the shoulder, gave her a hug, and told her about HannahHome.
Settled into Hannah Home the next night, Sharon and her precious family had a warm meal and a safe place to sleep. The next morning the children enrolled in school. Sharon got the help she needed to find self-supporting work, and soon enrolled in college part-time. And best of all, she and her family began a wonderful relationship with Jesus Christ that continues to this day.
Now Sharon lives in her own apartment and has a good job that supports her family. “I know these blessings are the work of God through HannahHome,” she says. This year she and her children look forward to rebuilding their new lives together, knowing personally the hope and miracle of God’s love.
